Oriental Ceramic Decorative Double Happiness Ginger Jar Blue & White Floral Decorative Container. This 20th century blue-and-white ginger jar was originally designed for storing spices. It is hand painted with trailing vines and the character for "double happiness", a traditional symbol of marriage and conjugal bliss. Chinese blue-and-white porcelain has inspired ceramists worldwide since cobalt was first introduced to China from the Middle East thousands of years ago.
 
There are two in stock and available and they look amazing as a pair. I hope someone chooses to purchase both and keep them as a pair. Antiques are never perfect, but these are in incredible condition considering how old they are and how far they have traveled.
